Would be happy to talk to you guys about tri-specific race nutrition, specifically:
- How to maximize energy uptake
- Carb sources, what’s good and what’s not
- Understanding the balance between energy and hydration
- Etc.
If you’re interested let me know.

Hey just found you guys from twitter. I’m also a podcaster and triathlete so I can’t wait to hear how this ep plays out. I’ve been doing tris going on 20 years now so I’ve got my own opinion but I’ll wait to hear what you have to say. Then I may come back and post a comment.
Take care

Hey gang,
I like what you’re trying to do here. But I have 2 (I think big) feedback items. One, can everyone get skype (or similar) and do a direct record? The sound is pretty mediocre at best.
2nd, this show about who’s better off s/b/r? really? You’re using top elite and pro results as indicators of what sport someone started at or is best at? pretty poor assumptions there.
To that end, I always love the Kona coverage talking about which pro’s are “runners” and which aren’t. Noting that the “bikers” are still turning out sick marathons, just not quite fast enough to win.
My 2 cents, a swimmer that could come in with a good or great swim and just focus on training the bike/run might be way ahead on minimal swim training. Looking at the pros, I think in the end it evens out a great deal.
You simply can’t take folks that train 25-40 hours / week and call them non-swimmers or non-bikers or non-runners.. you just can’t.
Keep at it.. I’ll keep listening.
