The Science behind Newton Running shoes

Today we interviewed Ian Adamson from Newton Running. He talked about the company, the different shoes and most importantly the science behind the forefoot strike while running. You have to check out their website and their shoes at http://www.NewtonRunning.com.

Ian was gracious enough to send me a power point the company create to discuss the science of the Newton running shoe. I will discuss all the points in the podcast. I am in the process of typing up a word document to briefly summarize the presentation.

Justin this was a fantastic interview. I had nearly all my questions answered about Newton shoes, the science behind them and how to use them. I felt as though you were anticipating every question that popped into my head. Great interview. I was excited to learn about the extensive research behind the shoe technology and also the commitment of the company to be environmentally aware. I just received my 1st pair of Newton’s in the mail and can’t wait to get started…slowly and patiently, of course! I hope you will have the opportunity to interview Mr. Adamson again in the future. Thanks for a great podcast!
